"Hey guys and gals of Phenix Technology, I just wanted to drop you a quick message saying how much I love your TL2 Leather helmet. I was issued mine roughly 6 months ago, and since then it has taken one hell of a beating. From some pretty decent heat to being dropped, kicked, banged and thrown about. Despite the hell I've put it through, it’s still as comfortable and good looking as it was the day I got it.
The TL2 is now a very common sight at our station, with roughly 1/4 of the membership already issued the TL2 and more to come, not to mention the Chiefs have had theirs for some time now. I think it’s pretty safe to say the TL2 has earned a place with the Putney Fire Department. Thanks again for making not just us here in Putney, but all firefighters such a great helmet to keep us safe. Keep up the great work, and much thanks.

"I have had my Phenix since Jan of '08 and am very happy with it. I have worn several helmets between the department I work for now and my previous department. When I decided to switch to leather, I was apprehensive about the weight. After trying several other models at trade shows, I decided on the Phenix. Another firefighter I work with has one and after talking with him, I made my purchase. The Phenix is light and has the style I like. The paint on it is much nicer because it's not that glossy shine like some other brands. Never had any problems with it on fires or during training. The employees at Phenix were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. One of the best leather helmets on the market!"

"I purchased my helmet about 3 years ago after my promotion to Captain. I have been in the fire service for 25 years total and have always wanted a traditional leather style helmet. I had looked at others but trying the Phenix was the best decision, although in my new position I don’t have the opportunity to wear it inside fires much, as my role has shifted more to incident management. Still I never know when that opportunity will arise. I still have the chance to wear my leather Phenix on incidents and training, it’s light weight and traditional good looks are well worth it!
I definitely recommend it above the other traditional leather helmet options that are out there."
