RIVERSIDE, CA. — Phenix Technology, Inc.’s Board of Directors recently announced the promotion of Melisa Sanchez to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
During her 18 years with the company, Sanchez has worked in numerous roles, including Customer Service Specialist, Logistics and Special Projects Manager, International Logistics Manager, Quality Manager, Chief Compliance Officer, and
most recently as Chief Transformation Officer, where she led a team responsible for research and development, compliance, and quality. Sanchez has been a critical member of the Phenix family since day one. Her contributions as an expert in exporting has led the company to exceptional growth in its international presence, helping the company earn the prestigious Presidential E-Award in 2018. Her thorough, accurate, organized, and productive skills have contributed to substantial gains in efficiency and quality during her leadership skills have contributed to the company’s unique award-winning culture.

As Chief Operating Officer, Sanchez will serve as the company’s integrator, responsible for establishing a solid operational cadence. She will work to ensure the execution of the company’s business plan while meeting or exceeding the company’s planned profit and loss objectives.
Sanchez brought with her a variety of successful experiences, including an administrative role with Kaiser Hospital and field experience working for American Medical Response. In 2020, she was appointed to the California Inland Empire District Export Council. She is a sought-after subject matter expert on the topics of International Trade and ISO 9001 Quality Management systems. She has been a guest lecturer on international transactions for the University of California, Irvine. She was featured in a series on International Trade by the California Community Colleges Path 2 Careers program and has been asked to present on various panels on International Trade and Lean manufacturing. She is also a social entrepreneur who dedicates significant time to improving access to educational and professional assistance across diverse at-risk populations and served as a senior board member on a multi-division non-profit organization.
