    PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

    We are seeking several production technicians to join our production team! You will use model build specifications to assemble helmets and their components; maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies; and keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements. 

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Able to use standard measuring devices
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of people
    • Experience in materials preparation, assembly and packaging
    • Experience and working knowledge for safe product assemblies
    • Ability to demonstrate top notch interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Strong oral/written communication skills
    • Punctual
    • High attendance record
    • Excellent prioritization skills
    • Open-minded, practical, results oriented
    • Able to stand for long periods of time
    • Able to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
    • And most importantly.... a positive, infectious attitude!

    SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR 

    We are seeking a sewing machine operator to join our production team! You will use model build specifications to sew components; maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies; and keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements. 

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Able to use standard measuring devices
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of people
    • Experience in sewing raw materials including support tapes and webbing
    • Working knowledge for pinning, marking, trimming, and any other required preparation work on raw material assemblies
    • Experience with routine maintenance and adjustments on sewing machines
    • Able to complete a sample sewing exam 
    • Ability to demonstrate top notch interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Strong oral/written communication skills
    • Punctual
    • High attendance record
    • Excellent prioritization skills
    • Open-minded, practical, results oriented
    • Able to stand for long periods of time
    • Able to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs

    CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE TEAM MEMBER

    We are seeking a Customer Experience Team Member to join our administration team! You will assist the other customer experience team members in assisting customers through phone and email communications, processing incoming orders into our system, and delivering an exceptional experience to everyone we come in contact with. 

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of Windows-based computer software programs
    • Ability to demonstrate top notch interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Strong oral/written communication skills
    • Able to type 35 WPM
    • Experience handling customer service needs 
    • Punctual
    • High attendance record

        INTERN @ PHENIX

        Interested in learning and developing your skills at Phenix? 

          CHEMICAL ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP

          We are seeking an engineering intern to come join our quality and compliance team! This position starts as soon as possible. We are ideally looking for mechanical engineering students but will also consider chemical engineering students for the position. 

          HOURS REQUIRED: 18-20 hours
          SHIFT: Monday - Thursday 7 AM - 5:30 PM Flexible
          EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full or part-time remote internship

           MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

          • Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited institution pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) related fields with a minimum GPA of 2.75
          • Hands-on experience in experiment or hardware/software system development
          • Outstanding communication skills - written, oral, and interpersonal 
          • Detail-oriented
          • Punctual
          • High attendance
          • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
          • Excellent prioritization skills
          • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
          • Computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD a plus
          • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
          • Ability to take constructive criticism
          • And most importantly.... a positive, infectious attitude!

          WHAT YOU'LL DO

          • Assist in creating compliance and certification data including helmet interface drawings, test procedures, compliance reports, and other data items associated with product development and fire helmet certification (EN, MED, NFPA, ANSI, ISO 9001)
          • Assist in development and construction of test environments to support testing of fire helmets
          • Assist with reverse engineering to create drawings for existing parts for implementation into Engineering design and document control systems
          • Conduct analysis, product testing, quality assurance, and lean continuous improvements
          • Communicate clearly and professionally (written and oral) with other company personnel and customers as required
