National Parents Day | Our Phenix Family

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2021, 89.1% of families had at least one employed parent. Now, more than ever before, it is imperative for companies to support their parent workers. 

At Phenix, one of our core values is to create an environment of joy. We know that there is nothing more joyful than being with your loved ones. In 2019, our company voted to move to a 4 day work week to give our people more uninterrupted time with their families.  

Working parents face a wide array of challenges. They have to juggle child care and their children's schedule and needs in addition to all of their duties at work. According to a survey by FlexJobs, 94% of respondents feel that workplace flexibility would help them be better parents. Chloe Carriere, our Customer Experience Manager, welcomed her baby boy earlier this year. "Often times mothers struggle to return to work after maternity leave. The harsh transition of going back into the office full-time and being separated from your baby and lack of resources with childcare can make it impossible for many. I was very fortunate that Phenix worked with me and eased my transition back to work. Phenix has made it possible to work and be a parent in ways I would never have been able to elsewhere," Carriere remarked.

RIVERSIDE, CA. — Phenix Technology, Inc.’s Board of Directors recently announced the promotion of Melisa Sanchez to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

During her 18 years with the company, Sanchez has worked in numerous roles, including Customer Service Specialist, Logistics and Special Projects Manager, International Logistics Manager, Quality Manager, Chief Compliance Officer, and
